Pluton i ptičica (Pluto's Fledgling)

Ovo je čestitka za jednog dečaka, za rođendan, koji mnogo voli crtaće sa Plutonom, konkretno ovaj, zove se "Pluton i ptičica". Želja mušterije je bila da ubacim i Plutona i ptičicu, i dala sam sve od sebe da ih napravim da budu što verniji. Čestitku sam jako dugo pravila, oko 7 sati. Tako je to sa novim projektima. Najviše mi je vremena trebalo da izrežem sve od kartona.

This card is for a little boy who likes cartoons with Pluto, specific this one, it's called Pluto's Fledgling. The customer wanted both Pluto and the little bird, and I gave my best so they would resemble to the actual characters. It took almost 7 hours to make this card. The hardest part was cutting all the shapes out of cardboard. 
Check out the cartoon, it takes you right back to childhood :).

Za stomatologe (For dentists)

Skoro sam primila narudžbinu za čestitku za jednu ortodontkinju koja je doktorirala, a mušterija je želela da to bude zubić na pastelno roze podlozi. Par dana sam mozgala i odlučila da mušteriji predložim da napravim nešto drguačije, da to bude širok osmeh sa fiksnom protezom, ona se složila i pravljenje je počelo. Dugo sam razmišljala kako da napravim bravice proteze, to mi je bio najveći problem. Pošto sam imala sam žicu koju koristim u izradi nakita, odlučila sam da probam da je namotavam i probam da napravim bravice, da što više liče na prave. Namotala sam par komada i nisam bila zadovoljna, ipak sam totalni amater kad je motanje žice u pitanju. A i nametnulo se pitanje kako tu žicu zelpiti za karton, a da to izgleda uredno. I onda sam odustala od toga, i odlučila da bravice napravim od papira i da žicu koja će glumiti luk ubacim kroz sredine čvrsto namotanih kružića. Na kraju je sve ispalo kako treba, ja sam bila zadovoljna rezultatom. I najbitnije je da se čestitka dopala mušteriji .Evo i kako sve to izgleda.


Recently I had an custom order for a greeting card for an orthodontist who has finished their PhD, and the customer wanted a quilled tooth on a pink pastel cardboard. I have brainstormed for a couple of days and I have decided to present my customer with a different idea. I have thought of a wide smile with visible teeth and with dental braces. She agreed, so I started with making the card. I wanted it to look as accurate as possible. The biggest problem was how will I make the brackets. I tried to make them using the wire I use for making jewelry, but I wasn't satisfied with the results, because I am an absolute amateur when it comes to bending the wire. And then came up another problem, how will I glue the wire to the cardboard. Then gave up that idea, and decided to make the brackets out of paper. I made the as tight coils, and through their center I put a length of wire which represents the archwire. I was very satisfied with the result. But the most important thing is that the customer liked the card very much. Here are the pictures of the greeting card.

Sonda i ogledalce (Dental mirror and probe)

Nasmejani zubić i malena sonda i ogledalce (Smiling tooth and a tiny dental probe and mirror)

A ovo je podlga za blokčić sa sondom i ogledalcetom. Obožavam da pravim podloge za blokčiće. Jako je jednostavno, sama podloga je napravljena od lepenke, 2mm debele, uvijena u papir u boji, sa par slojeva kartona preko.

And these I love to make. It's a post for post-it notes. It's really easy to make them, I use thick cardboard, 2mm wide, I wrap them with colored 80gr paper, and add a couple of layers of  220gr cardboard.
